After graduating from The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in 1991 with a degree in Visual Presentation and Space Planning, Courtney worked at a very successful ad agency in Orange County. It was there that while working with Hair stylists and make-up artists, Courtney was inspired to venture off into a new direction.

Trained by salon industry professionals in the apprenticeship program, she gained extensive knowledge quickly and furthered her education with Toni and Guy, L’Oreal, Redken and American Crew where she became and ambassador and a crew educator. With her creative vision and her vast knowledge of shapes and colors, she soon became a highly requested hair stylist in the San Diego community. Her Talents include, precision hair cutting, coloring, color correction, Japanese hair straightening, special occasion, print and runway.

Christine thinks being a Stylist is awesome! She’s been doing hair for about 10 years. She was inspired to become a stylist by her best friends aunt, when she was in high-school. One day, her best friends aunt cut all of Christine’s hair off.  It  instantly changed her look, she loved it!  Christine felt so great after the haircut, and was so impressed by her aunts confidence, she knew this is what she wanted to do.

As the years passed she has realized that she has the best job in the world. Christine is incredibly detail oriented and very creative. Christine will always tell you that she loves coming into work.  She enjoys talking to her clients and best of all, she loves making people feel good.

Susan has been bringing out the beauty in people as a hair designer and color expert for over 25 years. As a San Diego native her career began at Panache & Company, a cutting edge salon providing services for photo shoots, hair shows and dynamic clientele. Susan enjoyed artistically creating hats made from real hair as just one of her many experiences there.

More recently Susan appreciates the relaxed atmosphere of Luco where she can engage with her clients to provide a variety of services with a personal touch. Perms, Up Dos, color, cut services and more for both men and women are all part of her daily repertoire. As a student of yoga Susan believes your hair salon visit should be a zen experience where your fresh cut or highlights leave you feeling enlightened.

I graduated top of my class from the renowned Glen Dow Academy in Washington. Afterward I spent 3 years behind the chair at reputable Moxie Salon & Spa . During that time I made a name for myself with hair color, glamor styling, and specializing in bridal services. I continued honing my skills with competitions and on-stage work. Through such endeavors I won multiple trophies including the prestigious Jose Vigil trophy in 2009.

The passion for artistry and beauty in the salon industry brought me to San Diego. In addition to hair cutting and hair color, I am excited to be working with the best hair extension system available. I also specialize in evening glamor and bridal styling.
